November Masterclass

The Hôtel Le Cep in Beaune is organizing two exceptional events, reserved for true lovers of fine wines..

The 2025 Masterclasses of Excellence at the Hôtel Le Cep: where Burgundy reaches the sublime

In the heart of Beaune, the Hôtel Le Cep is hosting two of the most exclusive wine events of 2025. In the intimate setting of its historic cellars, the biggest names in Burgundy will come together: iconic winemakers, rare bottles, and legendary vintages.

These masterclasses are not just simple tastings. They are rare experiences, created for those who wish to approach Burgundy in its purest, most confidential, and most vibrant form.

Why are these masterclasses unique?

  • Wines that are almost impossible to bring together: some vintages are no longer available even at the estates themselves.
  • Exceptional commentators: Jacques Lardière and Nicole Lamarche, two respected figures in the world of wine.
  • A historic and intimate setting: the private cellars of the Hôtel Le Cep, hidden from view, for a timeless experience.
  • An intimate format: extremely limited number of places, guaranteeing a personalized and exclusive experience.
  • A combination of gastronomy and terroir: each wine is enhanced by a culinary creation designed to complement it.

Masterclass on Great White Wines – Saturday, November 15, 2025

There are moments that never happen again. This tasting is one of them.

Under the vaulted ceilings of the Hôtel Le Cep cellar, Jacques Lardière, legendary figure of Maison Louis Jadot, will guide guests through a series of eight white Grands Crus selected from among Burgundy's finest terroirs. An almost surreal moment: seeing wines that one usually only encounters once in a lifetime served side by side in the same tasting.

Montrachet 2017 from Domaine Sauzet, Musigny Blanc 2016 from Comte de Vogüé, Chevalier-Montrachet 1999 from Domaine Leflaive, Corton-Charlemagne 2018 from Bonneau du Martray... In addition to these iconic wines, there is Chablis Les Clos 2010 from Vincent Dauvissat, Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet 2014 from Faiveley, Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet 2022 from Fontaine-Gagnard, and Bâtard-Montrachet 2021 from Coffinet-Duvernay.

Each glass will be accompanied by gourmet bites created by the Chef at the Hôtel Le Cep, perfectly paired with the purity of Chardonnay.

→ Price: €1800 per person, by reservation only.

Vertical La Grande Rue – Saturday, December 6, 2025

To conclude the year, Hôtel Le Cep invites its guests to immerse themselves in one of Burgundy's smallest but most legendary Grands Crus: La Grande Rue, a 1.65-hectare monopole in Vosne-Romanée.

This exceptional vertical tasting will be led by the person who knows this terroir better than anyone else: Nicole Lamarche, winemaker at Domaine Lamarche. During this lunch tasting, seven consecutive vintages (2014 to 2020) will be served, allowing guests to observe the evolution of the wine, the finesse of the terroir, the winemaker's touch, and the imprint of each year's climate.

The food and wine pairings will be specially designed by our Chef to complement the depth of Pinot Noir: Burgundian textures, precision, silence, emotion.

→ Price: €750 per person, by reservation only.
